Hyacinth Haven’s Prices & Conditions of Sale

The price of a weaned, domestically bred Hyacinth Macaw, 8 months to 2 years of age, is $8,500.00 U.S. dollars. That does not include any transportation expense. This price includes a complete veterinary examination and tests, i.e., avian blood chemistry panel, bacterial cultures, and any other tests that the veterinarian feels are necessary at that time. 
 
Hyacinth Haven does not ship. Arrangements for pickup or delivery must be arranged in advance and agreed upon in the purchase agreement. Babies are ready to be picked up when they are weaned (eating 100% on their own) and have been given a clean bill of health by our veterinarian.

Customers are called when there are eggs and periodically updated by phone and email after the eggs have hatched. Once babies reach three to four weeks of age they are banded, DNA sexed, vet checked and the potential new owners are notified. At this time we request a $500.00 non-refundable deposit and the purchase agreement is agreed upon and signed. 

Visitations are encouraged and scheduled in advance by appointment. 

Any legal disputes are governed by Pennsylvania state law, in the United States of America.
